Made from High-Strength Stainless Steel, this boom arm has been built to endure the daily rigours, of the busy professional photography or video studio. With a load capacity of approximately 5kg, The PixaPro Heavy-Duty Telescopic Boom Arm is perfect for use with heavier studio light and modifier combinations. It enables you to extend your light or accessory directly above your subject, making it great for use with hair lights etc. It is also great for times where you require your light to be positioned centred in front of your subject, as you can take your shots, without the stand’s central column getting in the way, perfect for Clamshell or Butterfly (Paramount) lighting setups.

2-Tier Telescopic Design

This studio boom arm features a 2-sectioned telescopic design, enabling it to be extended anywhere between 123cm and 217cm in length. Perfect for times when you need to extend your lights over a large surface, such as a car, etc.

Horseshoe Style Metal Hinge Bracket

The 123-217cm telescopic boom arm features a horseshoe-styled metal hinge bracket, which enables you to set your boom to the angle that you require, then securely lock it into place using the metal grip handle. attach this to your light stand with a 5/8” fitting. This allows you to transform your regular light stand into a boom or overhead light stand.

Counterbalance Sandbag

It also includes a hardwearing sandbag, designed to counter-balance the weight put onto the end of the boom, to prevent the stand from tipping forwards and injuring someone or damaging your equipment.

Standard Baby-Pin Connector

The telescopic boom arm features a standard 5/8” baby-pin connector, making it compatible with the vast majority of studio lighting currently available on the market. Great for use with heavier light and modifier combinations.
