The Square Studio Honeycomb Grid is designed to be used with the to restrict the spread of light. 

Control Light Spread 

This studio honeycomb grid (also known as an egg-crate) is designed for use with the PixaPro VNIX1500 LED light panels. It can be used to restrict the spread of light, preventing light from spilling onto areas that you don’t want the light to fall, such as in the background when you are shooting a low-key image.

Lens Flare Reduction

The square honeycomb grid can also be used to help prevent you from getting lens flare when you are backlighting or rim lighting your subject (If shooting with the light pointed back towards the camera, we also recommend using a lens hood). 

Durable and Portable

This studio honeycomb grid is made from a strong, durable fabric, allowing it to be collapsed and folded when not in use for hassle-free storage and transportation.
