The softbox diffuses and homogenises the light from the individual LEDs on the panel to minimise hotspots and produce a more flattering quality of light. This softbox also comes with a detachable Honeycomb Grid (also known as an Eggcrate), to narrow the spread of light to prevent stray light from hitting parts of the set you don’t want it to illuminate, etc. It also results in slightly more contrast. Soft Homogeneous Lighting

The FS800 softbox attaches to your F800R panel, producing a soft, homogenous quality of light compared to the panel alone. It reduces harsh shadows and specular highlights, making it perfect for situations where you require soft, even lighting.
