The Blade Shutter for the EF-Mount Bowens Optical Snoot II By Pixapro are designed to fit into the gobo holder slot and enable you to project any four-sided shape you require by adjusting the blades to suit your needs. This accessory is great for highlighting logos in product photography, or can also be used in creative portraiture, fashion or beauty photography or cinematography. The four shutter blades are ideal for highlighting a specific area of your scene and can be used for either video or still photography.

Blade Shutter

The Shutter Blades feature 4x adjustable blades, which enable you to form 4-sided geometric shapes, such as squares, rectangles, trapezoids, or strips of light. The Optical Snoot can either be de-focused for a soft feathered edge to the projection or focused for a sharply defined edge.

Gobo Slot

The Four Shutter Blades also features a gobo slot, which enables it to be used in conjunction with gobos. This will enable you to control the size of the projection using anywhere between the full projection, down to a small portion of the projection. Especially good for times when you want the projection to affect a small area of your photo.

Please Note: It is crucial to keep the shutter open while the projector is in use. If the shutter remains closed, the lens can overheat and potentially break, even if the light itself continues operating normally. This issue occurs because heat builds up rapidly when the light output is blocked.
