The PixaPro 85mm Large Iris Diaphragm for Optical Snoot Spot Projector II is designed to fit into the gobo holder slot and enables you to project a circle of virtually any size you require, from a pinpoint of light, up to a large flood of light. The PixaPro 85mm Large Iris Diaphragm is ideal for highlighting a specific area of your scene and can be used for either video or still photography.

14 Curved Bladed 

The PixaPro 85mm Large Iris Diaphragm features a 14-bladed iris which enables you to continuously vary the size of the opening via a single metal lever. The blades in the Iris Diaphragm work in a similar fashion to how the aperture blades in a camera lens work. Due to the curved nature of the iris blades, the Iris Diaphragm maintains a near-perfectly circular shape, regardless of how large or how small you make the opening. The Optical Snoot can either be de-focused for a soft feathered edge to the projection or focused for a sharply defined edge.

Gobo Slot

The PixaPro 85mm Large Iris Diaphragm also features a gobo slot which enables it to be used in conjunction with gobos. This will enable you to control the size of the projection using the iris blades, anywhere between the full projection, down to a small portion of the projection. Especially good for times when you want the projection to affect a small area of your photo.
