Built in DVE for Video Effects

ATEM 1 M/E Constellation HD offers up to 4 independent DVEs, enabling real-time repositioning, resizing, and scaling of graphics for picture-in-picture effects. The DVEs feature customisable 3D borders, shadows, and lighting. They also allow for exciting transitions with squeeze and swoosh effects, and can be combined with custom graphics to create graphic wipe transitions.

Professional Broadcast Talkback

Talkback on ATEM 1 M/E Constellation HD live event video switcher supports a 5-pin XLR headset connector and an RJ12 port for ClearCom or RTS systems. It features program and engineering loops, sidetone control, and program mix. The system supports SDI talkback on channels 15 and 16 for two-way communication with Blackmagic cameras and channels 13 and 14 for engineering talkback. Additionally, the talkback mic can be mixed into the program audio for voiceovers.

New ATEM Advanced Chroma Keys

ATEM 1 M/E Constellation HD is ideal for news or virtual set work with advanced keyers for high-quality chroma and luminance keying. The powerful chroma keyer includes a colour picker for automatic key parameters, precise edge and flare controls, and a foreground colour corrector for seamless compositions. It also supports pattern and DVE keying.

ATEM 1 M/E Constellation is the first HD 4K live production switcher to integrate full professional audio production and live video event. All SDI inputs connect to a built-in Fairlight audio mixer with 6-band EQ, compressor, limiter, noise gate, and expander. It also supports additional audio sources like analog inputs and talkback microphones.

Free Software Control Panel

The ATEM Software Control Panel provides full control over your switcher and is included for free. It features a user-friendly interface with a visual switcher and parameter palettes for quick adjustments. Multiple users can connect via Ethernet and work simultaneously on different parts of the event. It also supports camera control, audio mixing, media management, macro programming, and HyperDeck control. You can save the switcher’s state as XML files and back up media from the pool.
